First stretch goal unlocked: a third art print!
over 7 years ago – Thu, Aug 30, 2018 at 08:22:05 AM

We've unlocked the first stretch goal which means a third Art Print to everyone supporting at the $30-or-more level!

The next stretch goal is an original short comic story featuring Waddlebottom, The Lord of all Ducks. The story also involves The Department of Cosmological Chicanery and Metaphysical What-Have-You which was briefly mentioned by the wizard Melvwyn early in our story.

100 Episodes!

This week, The Middle Age celebrated its 100 episode with a special two-parter. As always, you can read the story for free at a MiddleAgeComic.com. Supporters on Patreon can read larger episodes here: www.patreon.com/steveconley

Thanks again to everyone who's been able to support this project either directly or by helping to spread the word. It means the world to me! <3

Second stretch goal unlocked: a new, orginal Waddlebottom adventure!
over 7 years ago – Thu, Aug 30, 2018 at 08:22:03 AM

I'm thrilled to see that we've reached the second stretch goal which means I'll be writing and drawing a new, original, short comic story featuring Waddlebottom, The Lord of All Ducks!

Every backer at the "$30 or more: The Hardcover Book - and more!" level and above will receive a downloadable PDF edition of the story.

I've been overwhelmed by the kind support.

Extra thanks to the blogs and news sites who have helped spread the word including ComicsDC, Fleen - The Webcomics Blog About Webcomics, The Daily Cartoonist, and Fanbase Press!

And extra, extra thanks to the team at Kickstarter for selecting this campaign as a "Project We Love!"

Less than five days to go and updated stretch goals!
over 7 years ago – Thu, Aug 30, 2018 at 08:21:51 AM

With around 120 hours to go, we have:

  • more than 330 backers!
  • more than $14,000 in support!
  • and have unlocked the first three stretch goals!

I've added a new stretch goal! This new goal is something I've had repeated requests for and it'd be a reward which would benefit backers of every level - including digital only!

If we can reach $16,000, the book will be expanded to include the fourth chapter of the story!

This will include both the print and downloadable versions of the book.

Fingers crossed!

How you can help: If you know anyone who might be interested in this project, let them know! And if you'd like to add on any rewards to your pledge, now's the time! There are instructions on the main page how to do that.

Thanks again for your kindness and support. <3

Two weeks to go!
over 7 years ago – Fri, Aug 17, 2018 at 12:13:02 PM

I am just so amazed by the kindness and support! With two weeks to go, we’re closing in on 300 backers and the third stretch goal!

Big Thanks to Mike Rhode at ComicsDC for the plug and More Big Thanks to the kind folks at erfworld.com for helping spread the word with #kickingitforward

Stretch Goal Update

As you know, Stretch Goal Number Four is a printed edition of the original Waddlebottom short story which every stretch-goal eligible backer would receive with their loot. Every stretch-goal eligible backer is already going to receive a PDF/downloadable edition of the story.

I’ve been asked by PDF-only backers how they might get that PDF story and here’s the plan: if we reach our fourth stretch goal - everybody at the $8 or more level will get the bonus Waddlebottom story PDF/downloadable!

This way, every supporter can get a bonus if we reach the last stretch goal. According to some of the tracking sites, we seem to be on track for reaching that final stretch goal. Fingers crossed!
